The Purdey liquid prismatic compass is built to full military specifications. It will operate with precision accuracy to within half a degree, in temperatures from 55oC (131o) down to -30oC (-22oF) for the M-73, and -20oC (-4oF) for the M-88. It is shock resistant, and built to withstand the roughest and toughest conditions likely to be encountered anywhere in the world and comes with bridle leather case with shoulder strap.
The Purdey compass contains Tritium light sources to enable it to be used in complete darkness without the aid of artificial light.
